Lynk & Co Cyan Racing started the 2025 FIA TCR World Tour season at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Mexico, in style with a 1-2-3 courtesy Thed Björk, Yann Ehrlacher and Santiago Urrutia in the first race.
"My car felt very good, I was happy with my overtaking, and to be able to climb the positions. For me it was fantastic, with three races this weekend there are 90 points at stake in the event, so I need to keep focussed on what I’m doing," said Thed Björk.
The second race saw Yann Ehrlacher once again fighting for the lead to finish a strong second, just 0.131 seconds behind Esteban Guerrieri.
“The positives I take away is I’ve taken some time to try and get the pace from the car, and I’ve prepared this winter for the season harder than I’ve ever done, and I’m happy the pace this weekend has shown what I’m able capable of this year and I think I’m back at my best level again," said Yann Ehrlacher.
The third and final race brought Lynk & Co Cyan Racing two further podiums as Thed Björk came home in second place ahead of team-mate Santiago Urrutia.
The team now heads to Europe for the second round at Valencia in Spain with Thed Björk in second place on 83 points, 12 points from leading driver Esteban Guerrieri, and Santiago Urrutia in third on 69 points.
