Volvo V60 Polestar

The Volvo V60 Polestar was our first global production model, launched in 2014 and sold on four continents, taking engineering philosophy and technology from track to road.

The car was developed for those who share our passion at Cyan Racing: That driving really matters and that a true driver's road car should enable you to enjoy driving all-year, on all roads and in all weather conditions.

Development of the car picked up from the C30 and S60 Concept cars. Thousands of development kilometres were driven on twisty mountain roads, on the Autobahn and test tracks from the south of Europe to the frozen north of Sweden.

The car featured a 6-cylinder turbo charged six-cylinder engine of 350hp and 500Nm, making for a 0-100 km/h time in just 4.9 seconds, but with main focus of development on the chassis. The chassis featured Öhlins dampers and thorough development work that included all vital parts.
