Volvo S60 V8SC

Volvo Cars made its return to Australian racing with Cyan Racing and Garry Rogers Motorsport in the 2014 V8 Supercars season with the Volvo S60 V8SC.

The flying Kiwi Scott McLaughlin made a sensational debut for the team in the 2014 Adelaide season opener by claiming second place after a spectacular final laps in fight with multiple champion Jamie Whincup.

The car featured a naturally aspirated 5-litre Volvo engine, developed by Cyan Racing, that produced 650 hp and proved to be one of the most competitive engines of the ultra-competitive Australian championship.

The best result for the car came in the hands of Scott McLaughlin who claimed third place overall in the 2016 season in strong opposition from championship giants Triple Eight Race Engineering/Holden and Tickford Racing/Ford.
