Flash report: Improving under the scorching sun at Sepang
The second free practice session of the FIA World Touring Car Cup season finale at Sepang saw the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing drivers improving and gaining on the top drivers, as the air temperature hit well over 30 degrees Celsius.
There is still plenty of work left for the team as Yvan Muller was fastest of the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing drivers only in 15th position, nine tenths of a second from the top time.
Team-mates Andy Priaulx, Thed Björk and Yann Ehrlacher were 19th, 23rd and 26th respectively.
"We are closer to the top, but far from enough. We went somewhat in the wrong direction with the setup in this session and we will continue to work hard ahead of qualifying," said Andy Priaulx.
Next up is the first qualifying session, starting at 15:15 local time / 08:15 CET.
