Flash report: Hard work in the first Ningbo practice session
The final part of the FIA World Touring Car Cup season kicked off today with the first free practice session of the weekend at Ningbo International Speedpark, the home race of Lynk & Co Cyan Racing.
The team worked hard during the session to create a base setup for the Ningbo race weekend, the first time the Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car hit the Chinese circuit.
Yvan Muller was fastest of the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing drivers in 12th position with Andy Priaulx improving his best time at the end of the session to finish 16th. Thed Björk was 18th fastest and Yann Ehrlacher 21st.
"This will no doubt be a tough and very close weekend. This session was all about finding a base to work from for the coming sessions and I remain confident on our goal to fight for the victories in the races," said Thed Björk.
The second free practice session will start at 09:30 local time / 03:30 CEST.
