Flash report: Yann Ehrlacher leads the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing squad in FP1
Yann Ehrlacher was fastest of the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing drivers in the first free practice session of the 2019 FIA World Touring Car Cup season opener weekend at Circuit Moulay El Hassan in Marrakech, Morocco.
The French driver lapped the cold and partially wet street circuit in 1:26.198 and was 0.357 seconds from the fastest time of the session.
All four cars ran without issues and Yvan Muller claimed the seventh fastest time, 0.618 seconds from P1, Andy Priaulx in 11th position, 0.732 seconds from P1 and Thed Björk in 14th position, 0.808 seconds from P1.
The session was really close with 18 cars within one second. Next up is the second free practice session, starting at 11:00 local time / 12:00 CET.
