Thed Björk set the so far fastest lap of the FIA World Touring Car Cup weekend in Morocco, lapping the Marrakech street circuit in 1:25.308. The Swede headed a very close session with no less than 23 cars within one second.
"The car feels good, we have continuously changed the setup and it has gone in the right direction. This is however only free practice and we won't know where we really are compared to the competitors until qualifying," said Thed Björk.
Yvan Muller was third fastest, 0.132 seconds from his team-mate, with fellow Frenchman Yann Ehrlacher in seventh position 0.428 seconds from P1. Andy Priaulx was nine tenths from the fastest time in 23rd position.
Next up is qualifying, starting at 13:00 local time / 14:00 CET.
