There is less than two months left to the start of the toughest World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) season ever - let us introduce the stars of Lynk & Co Cyan Racing in the pursuit of the 2019 World Title of touring car racing.
Four drivers will represent Lynk & Co Cyan Racing on the grid of the 2019 FIA WTCR season with a total of eight World Titles and 79 individual race victories on their belts:
Yvan Muller: “I’m starting my 31st season this year, but I feel as much motivation as in my first season. It is very simple, I never race for anything other than to win.”
Thed Björk: “They say that your team-mate is your worst competitor on track, but neither of us feel that way. This is by far the best team and line-up I have ever been part of and that just spur me on. And that is going to be needed this year, no doubt.”
Andy Priaulx: “Ever since I drove my last WTCC season in 2011 I have been urging to come back. Such an awesome feeling to be here with Lynk & Co Cyan Racing. I don’t think anyone doubts how serious we are in challenging for the World Title.”
Yann Ehrlacher: “I know it sounds like a cliché, but for a driver in my age to be in a line-up and programme like this really is a dream coming true. There is so much I can learn from everyone in the team and at the same time, I don’t doubt that I can give them a proper run for their money this year. This is going to be awesome.”
