Lynk & Co Cyan Racing signs quadruple World Champion

2018-11-18

Lynk & Co Cyan Racing has signed quadruple World Champion Yvan Muller for the 2019 FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR).

"I have been very happy working with Cyan Racing and to continue our journey in this new programme with Lynk & Co is ideal. We will continue to push hard for the World title in 2019," said Yvan Muller.

Cyan Racing cooperated with Yvan Muller Racing (YMR) in the 2018 FIA WTCR, running two competitor cars that sported the colour code of Cyan: 100-0-0-0

The programme resulted in the 2018 World title for teams with seven victories and 18 podium finishes by drivers Yvan Muller and Thed Björk.

"Yvan is a key part in our assault on the 2019 FIA WTCR and our cooperation with him and his team Yvan Muller Racing during 2018 has been invaluable. The programme has enabled us to make the necessary preparations in order to hit the ground running next year. To claim the teams' title in 2018 fills us all with confidence for the challenges to come," said Christian Dahl, CEO of Cyan Racing.

Yvan Muller and Thed Björk will drive the all-new Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car that the team recently took delivery of from Geely Group Motorsport.

The identity of the third Lynk & Co Cyan Racing driver will be revealed in due course: www.cyanracing.com
