Victory in sight for Lotus Cyan Racing in the Swedish GT season finale

2018-09-20

Lotus Cyan Racing drivers Prince Carl Philip and Thed Björk are heading to the Swedish GT season finale at Mantorp Park in Sweden this weekend with victory in their sights.

“I’m heading to Mantorp feeling relaxed and confident. This is a challenging and fast circuit that I enjoy and I think that with the improvements we have made in the past races with the car, there is a solid base for us to fight for the top spot in both races,” said Prince Carl Philip, who is placed second in the championship.

While the 2018 Swedish GT title already has been decided, the mission for the Lotus Cyan Racing drivers is clear to fight for the victory and keep the runner-up spot in the championship.

“Our goal is to end the season in the best possible way. We have had some issues during the year, as to be expected in a new programme. But I think we are in a good position for a victory at Mantorp, especially as we have increased our speed for each race this year,” said Thed Björk.

The Swedish GT season finale starts already on Friday with testing and qualifying, followed by the final two races of 2018 on Saturday.
