Weather challenge in second STCC test at Knutstorp

”We got both a wet and dry track, perfect conditions for us to test ahead of the season. I must say that I am very much pleased with what we have accomplished here and I feel ready for the season start,” said Robert Dahlgren.

While team mate Richard Göransson was fastest yesterday, Dahlgren made it 1-1 as he posted the fastest lap time today.

”The test was productive and extremely useful for all of us with a lot of new people in the team. I get along really well with Richard and the team, I have no doubt that we have the right conditions for a successful season,” said Dahlgren.

Göransson broke the lap record of Knutstorp yesterday and was pleased by concluding the two test days with plenty of laps.

”I am super happy with the two test days. The wet weather in the final part of the test today gave us plenty of valuable data and I feel right at home in my Volvo. The season start is just two weeks away and I am eager to get going,” said Göransson.

The 2016 STCC season starts in just over two weeks at the Skövde Airport Race on the first of May.
